Final Thoughts
Spring fishing doesn’t have to feel complicated.
When you understand the key situations fish move through this time of year, and have a simple set of lures to match, you can eliminate a lot of the guesswork and start fishing with confidence.
Instead of constantly switching baits, focus on reading the water, identifying what the fish are doing, and applying the right tool for the job.
That’s when things start to click.

I’ve been lamenting the winds, now I know how to deal with it. Thanks
Hard plugs work great in the wind, give them a shot!
Great info Pat. yes the wind has been an issue lately.
It has been windy for sure!
Amazing information, as always. For me, the big question is the line poundage and the leads to use. Where can I find information on that?
20 pound is a good universal starting point for all lures. If you’re after snook, mackerel or bluefish you’ll want to step it up to at least 30 pound and even more.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks Byron!
This is the hardest time for me
Transition times are difficult. I think the biggest hang up is going back to the same places over and over. This time of year the fish on the move and thus so should anglers.
I hope the info in this video helps.
