Here’s an easy hack for finding great spots this summer

This quick video is going to show you a great way to easily find spots that are likely going to be holding some very nice fish during the summer months.
When the water is hot, redfish, snook, and other predator species will naturally shift out to the deepest structure they can easily access.
So whoever can find those deep zones will have a huge advantage over those who can’t.
Make sure to watch this video tutorial which shows a case study on how valuable the 1 ft contour layer in Smart Fishing Spots can be.

Note: The depths shown in this video represents an estimate for the average depth at these locations… use this layer for seeing depth changes, and use the Marine Chart layer for navigation depths.

Conclusion
Summer fishing can be extremely good for those who can find the deep structure zones where most fish will naturally shift to this time of the year.
So make sure that you’re using the 1 ft contour layer in Smart Fishing Spots because it’s by far the most efficient and convenient way to identify great spots like the ones shown in this video.
No longer do you have to spend countless hours on water doing it the old fashioned way… just 5 minutes sitting at your desk is enough to scan many miles of shorelines.

Are the prawn scented?
Yes, the Prawn USA lures come with scent infused in the material.
It is a very helpful video for sure… Most of the docks that I fish now are the same principle as years ago I use to wade fish the same docks …. Thank for the video and putting it out there for the anglers as I’m sure many will now utilize it for their own fishing needs and trips ….. ! Thanks Luke
I’ve always added as many layers as possible, thinking that more is better, but after seeing this view I will definitely try just the contour layer more often
Thanks for sharing… yes, having too many layers can sometimes do more harm than good since some may cover the others up.
will be trying this
Thanks for the information
great tips should you drift past an plunk from shallow to deep?
Thanks for making time to post the nice comment. I have had equal success going from deep to shallow vs. shallow to deep… the key is to be able to bounce a good looking lure along the bottom near structure.
Way to go guys – as usual. Thanks !
Thanks Gerard!
