Well it’s hard to make it on that day for me but thanks for leaving it up to see later lots to learn thanks again very interesting topics
I have the same question as Lee Smithey below, I have the Engel bait cooler, rechargeable pump and the foam feet on my cooler. It does put out quite a bit of noise still. I’m assuming if I can hear it, the fish can too?
Any tips for using live bait on a kayak (storing & rigging)? I’d like to reduce the chances of dropping a live shrimp in my lap 🙂
Sara See Tony Acevedo he has a review on that; I took his advice and I’m using my 1-gallon Minnow bucket works like a charm
Thanks Angel. I haven’t searched the topic yet because I’ve only been using artificial but am looking to maybe add live bait to my arsenal.
I’ve seen these rigs called shrimp walker hooks, a cap slides over the shrimp’s horn without hooking it, do you think they could be beneficial?
DON’T waste your money.
there is a review on that item here on the website.

Bait shrimp here are currently whoppers (bigger than full-size Prawn). Do you ever hook both head & tail instead of just either on an xl shrimp? Have heard this can land more but seems like it would limit swimming action a lot
also when would you decide to free-line a shrimp vs weighting it somehow?
Does keeping live bait in a plastic cooler on a kayak scare fish? I’ve heard conflicting things about it. I’ve caught fish using one, but if it affects my chances and I could catch more without it, I’d love to know!
